DCP (Dicalcium phosphate) is is used as a premium bioavailable calcium and phosphorous supplement in horse feeds. DCP is for horses with diets deficient in either calcium or phoshorus or both.
DCP contains 22 – 24% calcium and 18 – 19% phosphorous. Therefore, 10 g of DCP will provide approximately 2.4 g of calcium and 1.9 g of phosphorous.
There is no standard recommended feeding rate.
